Ghost Forest

I created layered, luminous abstractions shaped by the scent, texture, and rhythm of molten beeswax, pigments and damar resin. My process is meditative, revealing and concealing through marks and layers that invite reflection on both inner and outer landscapes. Inspired by water’s power to heal, stir, and transform, I seek to capture fleeting moments of balance in a world defined by change. This current body of work explores the shifting Atlantic coastline, particularly the haunting beauty of ghost tree-lined waterways—remnants of forests lost to rising sea levels.
